Oliver Reed, the dog with the larger than life personality, is #1 Springer at Alhambra, with 2xCACIBs at the Spring Fair (from Tom Creamer of Ireland and Hilda Parkinson, UK), in addition to many Ch All Breeds BIS!

Amongst his greatest wins include BIS at The ESSA of NSW 50th Ch Specialty under Jan Wood, UK specialist (with a record entry), and BIS at the RNSWCC Christmas show under Dominic Harris (Ireland).
His BIS at Sydney Kennel Club is also special, with BIG (Group 1st) under Norma Hamilton (of the world famous Quailmoor Irish Setters) and then BIS under Guy Spagnolo (of the world famous Driftway Labradors).
In November 1999 he was a Contestant in the Contest of Champions, beating top dogs to reach the quarter finals. A week later he won BIS at the Victorian Specialty under Wayne Douglas (Dansn).
In 2000, he became a grand Champion and has won several BIG and Res BIG, always competing against his brother.

Oliver Reed had a great Easter 2002 with Res CC at Sydney Royal under Paul Stanton (Sweden) and Res CC to his brother at the Spaniel Specialty under Bob Jackson!

Oliver Reed retired at the top with CC and RUBIS at The ESSC of NSW Specialty 2004 under Ann Corbett (Trimere UK). He was 10 1/2!

 

His kids are now really making their presence felt with many placegetters at the Royals and Specialties going back to him. Not bad for a dog that is not at public stud!
